You are paranoid about USD being not stiff enough? You are the Rocky Balboa of Mountain Biking? You only ride the nastiest, steepest and roughest trails out there? You are crashing like... alot?

If you answer one or more of the questions above with a "yes", you might be a candidate for the Flash.

With an even further reinforced upper part of the fork (in comparison to our already sturdy Edge model), you are getting the ultimate stiff & sturdy upside down fork, ready for anything you throw at it. This burly fork is made for riders who want the absolute upside down fork in terms of stiffness, stability and precision. It's also a valid choice for a big hitting e-bike rig. And no, freeride is not dead.

Our DH-ready damping and airspring provides an unmatched subtleness and a natural, predictable feel. In case you wish for more progression: A volume spacer which can be installed in 2 positions is included.

Our forks are especially easy to service and special tools are not required. Changing travel is also easily possible, no extra airshaft needed! Just open the fork with your regular toolset of choice and adjust travel spacers. For more information about service and travel adjustment check out the Tech section.

FAQ

Can I ride braided steel hoses on Intend forks?
This hoses are not 100% compatible to USD forks. they are weak and easy to bend. As the hose at a USD fork needs to slide through the upper guides, the use of steel braided hoses causes problems. That is why I recommend normal brake hoses, they work for 100%

Is this fork available with black lower stanchions?
This option is not available.

Are 223mm brake mounts optional?
This option is not available. You can simply use normal brake adapters to make that combination work.

Are Intend forks safe to ride with 223mm rotors?
Yes! You can put any 223mm rotor on Edge, Flash, Bandit and Infinity forks.

Intend Samurai CC, XC and GR are only possible up to 203mm.

Is it possible to change the axle diameter after purchase?
This is not possible any more since beginning of 2022. You can either buy a 20mm dropout or a 15mm dropout.

Can I use a non-boost-hub?
Only on our Infinity forks, you can use 110×20 non-boost hubs, combined with the correct non-boost brake mount. 100x15mm hubs are possible with Boost-spacers.

Is it possible to get stanchion guards for this forks?
This option is not available.

Is it possible to change the travel after purchase?
Yes! You can easily adjust the stroke by adding or removing 10mm spacers.

Does the length of the fork change with adding or removing 10mm spacers?
Yes! By exactly 10mm.

Can I order this fork with a 1 1/8″ straight steerer or different offset?
This option is not available.

What are the colour options for Intend forks?
You can have any colour as long as it is black anodized. We do not offer any other colours. Only black.

I’ve seen some different colours, do you offer these?
Colour options other than black anodized are not available. The reason is, that anodizing in not-black causes so much troubles, that we cannot guarantee a problem-free, nice looking product trough the whole range. When we sell products, we want to do it perfect, and need to skip all variations which are not “perfect”.

Delivery

For spare parts, if they are in stock we will send them out the same day if we receive the order before midday (except weekends). If we receive the order after midday, we will do our best to despatch them same day, but it may be the following working day. Orders placed after 3pm on Friday will be despatched on the following Monday. We normally send spare parts by Royal Mail post (see below or our 'Shipping' page for cost/delivery times).

Forks, shocks and large/heavy orders go by courier. UK deliveries are with DPD Local, for overseas customers it's DPD, FedEx or DHL. In all cases these are fully tracked services and you'll need to sign for the delivery - please provide a suitable address with extra instructions if necessary.

Returns

You may return your order unused, within 14 days for a refund if you no longer require it, provided it is returned with its original undamaged packaging and is unused and unmarked. Please note, we do not refund postage unless items were supplied in error or are faulty.

Picking mistakes do sometime happen. If we supply the wrong part or there are parts missing from your order please let us know within 14 days of receipt so that we can correct the mistake. In the case of picking errors we will refund your postage costs on the returned item.

Faulty goods will be replaced with the same item or a suitable equivalent, as appropriate.
