Product Description

Replacement spring for Vorsprung Smashpot coil conversion kits

You can use the Vorsprung Spring Rate Calculator to help determine your recommended spring rate based on your riding preferences. It is important to consider where/what you ride the majority of the time for the best recommendation. Each criterion is explained below, and if in doubt or between two choices, go for the lower choice.

Rider Weight
This is your weight fully kitted (including gear & pack). An approximation is fine. Use the toggle to switch between units.

Bike Weight
If you know roughly, great! If not, 33lbs/15kg for a regular bike, 50lbs/23kg for an e-bike. Use the toggle to switch between units.

Terrain Speed
This is a measure of the speeds naturally inherent to the terrain you ride. A moderate downslope with open corners will favour high speeds. Low angle, undulating terrain with a lot of pedalling, or persistent steeps, promotes low speeds.

Rider Level & Aggression
Your ability to attack any given trail, including corners, rough and slippery terrain, and steep sections both short and long.

Strength to Weight Factor
We're not all Olympic athletes. Will an unexpected hard compression throw you off the bike? Can you handle a sustained beating down a 5 minute trail without taking a break?

Jump Size
Consider the size of the jumps you like to ride. Some comparisons:
Small - Street gutters, one or two stairs, green trails.
Medium - Most table tops, small gaps, and head height drops. Think Crank It Up to A-Line.
Rampage - Big gaps, huge step downs, stuff that looks like it should be done on a moto. Red Bull Rampage, FEST Series events, Crabapple Hits, Dreamline, etc.

Preferred Feel
A compliant setup will favour bump sensitivity and be easier on the rider. A stiff setup will favour support but will be more physically demanding on the rider.

Delivery

For spare parts, if they are in stock we will send them out the same day if we receive the order before midday (except weekends). If we receive the order after midday, we will do our best to despatch them same day, but it may be the following working day. Orders placed after 3pm on Friday will be despatched on the following Monday. We normally send spare parts by Royal Mail post (see below or our 'Shipping' page for cost/delivery times).

Forks, shocks and large/heavy orders go by courier. UK deliveries are with DPD Local, for overseas customers it's DPD, FedEx or DHL. In all cases these are fully tracked services and you'll need to sign for the delivery - please provide a suitable address with extra instructions if necessary.

Returns

You may return your order unused, within 14 days for a refund if you no longer require it, provided it is returned with its original undamaged packaging and is unused and unmarked. Please note, we do not refund postage unless items were supplied in error or are faulty.

Picking mistakes do sometime happen. If we supply the wrong part or there are parts missing from your order please let us know within 14 days of receipt so that we can correct the mistake. In the case of picking errors we will refund your postage costs on the returned item.

Faulty goods will be replaced with the same item or a suitable equivalent, as appropriate.
